Building the Kit   – Please read me !

This kit is of an Advanced standard and assembly requires good soldering and hand skills. The plastic case needs to be drilled and cut as appropriate for switches and displays but if care is taken, then this should not pose any problem for any Amateur.

The kit is complete, including the meter and all components required including the two wound coils for its completion.

The latest updates and any technical issues should  be obtained from Jim Tregellas VK5JST’s website  before starting construction !

The club takes NO responsibility with problems associated with construction, but will provide reasonable assistance to the purchaser to get the kit operational, nor do we stock “spares”.

However, the purchaser should keep clearly in mind that this is a volunteer organisation with limited resources, and that politeness in correspondence is much appreciated.

As the technical article makes clear, access to an oscilloscope is highly desirable but not strictly mandatory.
