Working bee at the shack

Hi all,

​We are having a working bee at the shack on this coming Saturday. We need to clean up the GG shed in preparation for the plasterer to commence work on the following Monday morning.

We will be dismantling / clearing away the shelving frames to give a clean floor that can be accessed, clearing out all the spider webs and any other assorted live stock we may find, and plugging the holes and flutes of the GI roof with rock-wool to prevent them coming back. A general clean of the dust and dirt will help as well.

I have a couple of volunteers already, but more will be needed, tools required are a broom(s) perhaps some with extended handles to get to the top of the walls and the apex of the roof area. We also have to disconnect the lighting and bundle the cables ready to be brought down through the new ceiling gyproc  ready for the lamps to go back up. I will bring some flood lights and an extension cable as the power to the shed will be isolated before hand.

If you have a reasonably tall 'A' frame ladder, that would probably help with this exercise as well.

If you can lend a hand, then please drop me a line before Friday, so I have an idea of who is coming !
