The latest news from the Adelaide Hills Amateur Radio Society Wishing you all a safe and healthy Easter season. AHARS had a back to the shack breakfast on Saturday the 27th of March and 16 members checked in and enjoyed a breakfast of Bacon and Eggs, tea, coffee and juice. We are planning on doing this whenever there are five Saturdays in a month. Pat is planning on having pan cakes instead of bacon and eggs at the next one on the 29th of May 2021. We are hoping to start our regular meetings at the shack on the second and fourth Saturdays of each month soon, stay tuned for when this is going to happen and details of the technical sessions on the fourth Saturdays. The next General Meeting on the 15th of April will be a Members only Buy and Sell. Bring along your unwanted items and offer them for sale to your fellow AHARS members. Remember we will be still under Covid restrictions so please observe all the Covid rules. AHARS is also planning on having a silent auction soon and John VK5EMI is busy making up a list of the more valuable items that are stored in various members QTH’s, mostly from deceased estate collections. Have you contacted aVI100AF or VK100AF station yet ? Read about these special event call signs for the RAAF 100 years and give them a call during the time they will be on air.
