The inaugural Buy and Sell at The Marion RSL went well. The new venue had many advantages over the previous one at Goodwood including: cheaper to hire, much better parking, good meals, and drinks from the bar.
Thanks to the AHARS workers who organised the event, and the Marion RSL for hosting us so well.
Three commercial vendor were in attendance: Strictly Ham from Victoria, RPL Comms, and Pat Cookson who was selling top quality parts from the Jackson Bros business.
Overseas visitors included Wolfgang OE4WOG (Austria), Hans OE2JOM (Austria), and Patrice FK8HA (New Caledonia) and his wife.
17th October 2019 - 'The Life of a Detective' by Paul VK5PAS.
Member, Paul VK5PAS, spoke to the meeting about his time working as a Detective in the South Australia Police.
The presentation included the history of Detectives in South Australia and the role/responsibilities of Detectives in the Police Force.
When he offered to do free finger printing after the talk, it was noted that some members left rather quicky and quietly.
