The Shack Grand Opening September 3rd, 2011.
The Shack was opened at a grand cermony on Saturday September
3rd, 2011. There was quite a crowd including a special guest.

Christine Taylor VK5CTY spoke about past
members' contributions to the club, especially her late husband Geoff
Taylor (VK5TY, SK). Christine cut the ribbon,
declaring the Shack open. (view

Refreshements followed the opening, and there were
several amateur demonstrations including CW,
HPSDR and digistal modes of transmission (PSK31).
A good time was had by all.
